Softworker was born in April 2026 from a simple observation: while AI models were getting smarter, they remained isolated, unpredictable, and disconnected from the real workflows of business teams. Operations leaders wanted to delegate work to AI, but couldn't afford the risk of hallucinated actions, unmonitored decisions, or leaked credentials. We saw that the gap wasn't in the models themselves, but in the lack of a secure, governed environment where humans and agents could collaborate side-by-side.
Initially, we embraced a "fail fast" model, building rapid prototypes to stress-test how agents interact with everyday business systems. We didn't want to build another chatbot or copilot that merely suggested text. We wanted to build a system that actually executed complex, multi-system tasks, while keeping the human firmly in control.
Today, we are building a multi-agent governed collaborative system specifically for small and medium-sized businesses. A platform where secure credentials, human approvals, policy engines, and live supervision come standard. We are here to ensure that delegating to AI doesn't mean giving up control.
